“Fire made us human, fossil fuels made us modern, but now we need a new fire that makes us safe, secure, healthy and durable.” Amory Lovins
Efficiency Maine has helped the state make progress toward achieving its 20% energy reduction goal by 2030. And the State is not alone. Local Communities, NGOs, nonprofit organizations and many in the private sector have furthered this effort by spearheading grassroots educational efforts in the form of communication aides, social media campaigns, community events, and workshops.
Following we highlight these educational opportunities for our fellow Ogunquit residents and friends eager to lead the effort in energy conservation and sustainability.
