Karina Graeter is the new sustainability coordinator for the Southern Maine Planning and Development Commission’s Regional Sustainability and Resilience Program. She told Kennebunkport selectmen recently that

… the plan has four goals centered on collaboration, assessment, integration, and action. The overall objective is to coordinate planning and execution throughout coastal York County.

Greater was hired by the SMPDC to address climate change concerns collaboratively. Graeter’s position is funded by Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells, Ogunquit, York, and Kittery.
