The projects were included in the Army Corps of Engineers’ work plan for Fiscal Year 2022, with funding that was secured through the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act signed into law in November, according to a joint statement from Republican Sen. Susan Collins and independent Sen. Angus King.
